Wild Animal Park

The Moose Jaw wild animal park these days doesn't have much to offer. Since these photos were shot all the buildings on the property have been razed. This is by far the easiest to explore location that I have ever been to. No fence to deal with, no security, not even boarding on the building. There is even a sign at the gate inviting you to use the grounds but at your own risk.

I cannot remember, nor can I locate the year this place closed but I believe it was in about 1993. The Wild Animal Park was a small zoo showcasing primarily the animals of Saskatchewan. I remember visiting this place several times as a child, primarily with school. It never made a profit and always required money from the taxpayers to keep in afloat.
